Funniest Band Story
When Joanne Yoker fell off the stage in Lesmahagow Church. (Sorry Joanne)

Proudest Band Moment
Playing the Flugel Solo (I Dont Know How To Love Him) in front of a full house at Lesmahagow Parish Church for the Blackwood family, dedicated to George at the George Blackwood memorial concert.

Favourite Piece / Test Piece
Cornet Solo Pretty Jane. My favourite Test Piece is Rococo Variations, the 1979 3rd Section Scottish Championship test piece when the band finished a creditable 5th place.

Least Favourite Piece / Test Piece
I dont have a 'least favourite' as I feel there is something to respect in all music!

Memorable Band Moment
I have a few favourite moments, but the one which sticks out the most is the West of Scotland Open Contest held in Kilmarnock, where the band won the 4th Section and 3rd place overall.

Additional Information
Started playing cornet at age 16yrs. Currently Vice President of the band, 100 Club convenor, tea & coffee & tuck provider. I enjoy all aspects of Brass Banding i.e. fundraising, engagements, concerts, contests and most importantly the friendship and fellowship with other band members.
